      UNIT - IV :      

      Role of Statistics in Educational Research, Tabulation and Classification of Data, Coding and Categories

      Measures of Central Tendencies and Variability, Their reliability and their significances

      Mean, Median and Mode

      Range, Inter quartile range, Mean, Deviation and Standard Deviation

     Test of Significance of difference between Means (t-test)

      Normal Probability Curve :

     Use of Normal Probability Curve, Skewness and Kurtosis Diagrammatic Representation of Data,

     Histograms, Frequency Polygons and Cumulative Frequency Curves.

 

      UNIT - V :      

      Coefficient of correlation - rank difference and product moment methods
