The College offers One Year Secondary Teacher Education Programme known as B.Ed. Since the College is affiliated with Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur as such the final examinations for B.Ed. are conducted by it and the degree is also conferred by this University.

Intake : For every session 180 students are admitted. The details of which are as under :
Subjects available in the College for Practice Teaching : Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Rajasthani, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, General Science, Home Science, Social Studies, History, Civics, Economics, Book-keeping, Commercial Practice
The admissions to the College are made as per the policy decided by the Government of Rajasthan. Presently the admissions are made on the basis of a Pre-Teacher Education Test (P.T.E.T.) conducted by the any one of the universities within Rajasthan earmarked for this purpose by the State Government. The candidates so selected are placed at the disposal of the College. The eligibility criteria for taking P.T.E.T. Examination as contained in the Prospectus of the P.T.E.T. 2010 issued by the Office of the Co-ordinator, P.T.E.T. Office, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur is as follows (Since the eligibility and the admission criteria and process are decided by the Government of Rajasthan as such any changes if made for the next session will be available on the Web-Site as and when received from the State Government/ University concerned) : Candidates possessing at least 50% Marks in the aggregate in Bachelor's/Master Degree Examination of the university conducting the P.T.E.T. or any other university recognised as equivalent to and fulfilling the other requirements for admission to B.Ed. are eligible to take the P.T.E.T. Examination. However Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Class candidates of Rajasthan securing a minimum of 45% marks at the Bachelor's'/ Master Degree Examination are also eligible to take the P.T.E.T. Examination. Widow or Divorcee candidates securing at least 41% marks in aggregate in the bachelor's/ Master's degree level examination will be eligible to apply for admission. The fee is decided by the Government of Rajasthan and is paid to the university conducting the P.T.E.T. Examination at the time of counseling. Presently the Fee Structure is as follows as decided by the Government of Rajasthan vide their office letter No. PA/12(1)/Edu-1/99 dated 07.12.2005 issued by the Deputy Secretary (I) of the Department of Education (Group-I), Govt. of Rajasthan, Jaipur :
The student who wishes to stay in College Hostel, pays the following Fee. The fee is always subject to change as per the decisions of the Management :

Scheme of Examinations :
The Scheme of Theory Examinations for the B.Ed. Course shall be as follows :
* 30 Marks for Sessional Work to be divided as follows : Tests : 20 Marks (There shall be three tests. Two best out of the Three tests shall be taken into consideration for internal assessment record. Essay of Project : 05 Marks Viva-voce : 05 Marks NOTE: The above 30 marks are also known as the marks in the Internal Assessment and each candidate must obtain at least 25% marks of these 30 marks in each Theory Paper. If the candidate does not obtain 25% marks in Internal Assessment i.e. 8 Marks, he/she will declared failed in Theory Examinations. ** The marks of Paper-VIII (Computer Literacy and Educational Applications) will not be included in the Total Percentage of the Marks but if a candidate who is declared failed in Specialization Paper and/or in the Paper-VIII (Computer Literacy and Educational Applications) will be allowed to take examinations in the next year without attending any course of study. However, till he/she has passed examination(s) in these papers he/she will not be declared passed in the B.Ed. Examination.
FINAL LESSONS : 1. Every candidate shall teach two lessons to be assessed by the Board of Examiners consisting of :- (a) One external examiner from the area concerned (viz. Social Sciences, Languages, Sciences, etc.) (b) Two internal examiners of whom one would be the Principal of the College and other would be a member of the faculty of the College from the area concerned (viz. Social Sciences, Languages, Sciences, etc.) and marks will be awarded out of 200. (100 Marks of each subject for Ordinary Level Course subjects.) NOTE: Every candidate during the Academic Session shall teach 42 lessons (21 Lessons in each School Teaching Subject including 1 Criticism in each teaching subject) before one shall be allowed to take the Final Lessons provided other conditions are also fulfilled.
